[VPC-SALE]white-wonderPeter first learned to play the guitar while a teenager during the fabulous 60’s, inspired by Chet Atkins, the Beatles, and countless great musicians of early rock and roll. As a result, Peter’s life has revolved around and reflected his love of both classic and contemporary music. Having played in several bands over the years, Peter is presently involved with “PS and the Silhouettes” as well as a popular eight-piece “doo-wop” group, the “Beaumonts.” Peter composed and recorded a children’s CD in 1996 entitled simply, “I Like To Sing Songs.”

peter-yellowcar-foto-200Back in 1986, he wrote and recorded, “White Wonder,” about the unique population of white squirrels which reside in Exeter, Ontario. Peter has appeared on TV on the New PL, Rogers cable, CBC /
Radio as well as live concerts including the Western Fair and the London International Children’s Festival.
Peter’s current projects include a song to promote London’s Victoria Park and their black squirrels.

Peter has taught music to all elementary grade levels for over 25 years for the Avon-Maitland , Waterloo, and Thames Valley District School Boards. He has led instrumental bands, vocal choirs, and staged many full-scale musical shows from “Joseph and His Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat” to several Gilbert and Sullivan classics.

Peter and his wife, Sharron, have also performed as a music and puppetry act, taking this variety show to children’s museums and libraries, as well as senior retirement and nursing homes.
